Fun and friendly
The support from the rowing race got in the way a bit which can't be helped by the event. Otherwise no complaints
Excellent for one's first 20 miles being with a pace group and as part of the marathon training plan!!
I knew what I was doing but to a new-comer the organisation may have looked poor. The start was poorly organised particularly with the unfortunate weather. Having to stand around for 15-20 minutes before going off was unfortunate. But, a good way to start to talking to fellow runners.
Being in a pace group was fantastic!
I would rather have received a medal than a goody bag.

The gents toilets were very poor as usual. A few portaloos might be a welcome addition for a couple more quid on entrance fee.?

Good, all things considered
Many good things, but a lack of enough toilets, the quality of the towpath, the number of other users on the towpath, the weather, and no event hat in my goody bag all detracted from the experience. It's a really good event, I'll be back, but it has some genuine limitations, most of which are way beyond the control of Chasers.
This is a great distance and at a perfect time for people training for London or Brighton marathon. It is a lovely course. Good to have pacers to follow, but I feel they could have been chattier!
The event started later than scheduled and we were held waiting in the rain for far too long, there could have been an overhead cover set up in the park. The toilets were really far away from the start/finish line and there were none on the course.

Maybe make people aware that there are limited toilet facilities within the park, so arrive early to avoid the long queues and delaying the start!

The marshalls gave great support and the array of cakes was brilliant. I especially liked the chocolate balls.
Chip timing would be great. I know it's more expensive but for 20 miles people are willing to pay more. Thanks for a great day
