Long wait to start in small groups which wasn't nice due to the weather but otherwise very enjoyable.

Great race just let down by having to stand in cold and wet for slightly too long at the beginning.

Friendly and scenic
I have done this race 3 times now and it is a brilliant event. My only suggestion would be some temporary toilet facilities near the start.

Wet, windy, muddy and brilliantly organised- loved it.
The only improvement I could think to suggest was it would have been nice to start on time especially with the weather as it was today. Other than that, what a brilliantly organised event. Great marshalls. Great fun. Well done to all involved.

Good tune up for London just make sure you don't need to use the toilets pre race
Please get more toilets. Forty minutes in line and I still didn't get to use them!
Excellent river-based running fun
Started ten minutes late because of big queues for toilets. Couple of portaloos could have helped. Otherwise excellent organisation along the route and support from marshals.
great event - partly because it's so local for me ! Marshalls were excellent
The pacers in my group - 9.00 - were fantastic - very encouraging and really helped me achieve the time I was going for.
Nice friendly, flat marathon build up race. Cheap and good goodly bag (but not quite as good as last year, no kiwi)

No trains rail replacement meant I could not Attend!
Due to 8am start no trains early enough to get there on time & even planning to go from closer station, trainso cancelled with rail replacement. Car parks do not open till 8am either. As the only 20 miler near enough to me pre marathon left very disappointed.
